Before summer sees itself out, there’s a little spot in North Charleston you just have to visit.
Only 20 minutes outside of downtown Charleston, the booming Park Circle proudly boasts an ice cream shop. But not just any ice cream shop. It’s not big, corporate-made, factory-produced ice cream; it’s local, homemade-daily, sweet creamy goodness.
Ice cream on a hot day is what good summertime memories are made of.
This ice cream is rich, creamy and delicious and their waffle cones are the perfect added crunch. Their flavors change often so each time you go, it’s like a party on your palate.
Park Circle Creamery is wrapping up its first summer season in The Circle. And if the lines out the door say anything, thankfully they’ll be around for a while.
Stepping into this place, you feel a little like you’re stepping back in time. The decor is clean and inviting and we couldn’t agree more with the hanging sign that says, “Don’t Worry Eat Ice Cream”.
What makes this corner spot even better is the locally born and raised owner, Maurice, and his staff.
They are fun and engaging as soon as you walk in the door,. They are knowledgeable about all things ice cream, and best part of all… they are big scoopers.
When you go, be sure to bring your dollar bills, ya’ll, because they only take cash.
